KEY FACTORS EACH ATHLETE SHOULD KNOW

Dedication Beats Talent

For many families, this is the first time their son or daughter will be going through the recruiting process. The truth is the majority of high schools do not have ATHLETIC PROGRAMS. They have HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS. The difference between the two is this; High Schools that have athletic programs have the ability to attract top talent to play at their school, hence their program is in constant ranks of playoff and state championship runs.

As a result, these programs attract the most college coaches, which leads to more exposure for their athletes.

Bridging the gap is a process completed by B.Y.M Sports & it's athletes.

Recruitment is a two-way street. Students need to learn everything they can about certain athletic programs and colleges in order to find the best fit.

Just because you receive a recruiting letter does not mean you are being actively recruited. Thousands of student-athletes receive these letters; Which is why you must find a way to separate yourself from the rest.

1. Know your academic eligibility rules.

2. Keep a good off and on the field reputation.

3. Work harder than anyone.

4. Market yourself.
